Role: Datadog Architect

Role & responsibilities:
- Design and deliver enterprise observability using Datadog (Infrastructure, APM, Logs, RUM, Synthetics, Cloud SIEM & LLM Observability).
- Audit existing Datadog environments and optimize performance and costs.
- Build monitoring, dashboards, SLOs, alerts, and automation.
- Architect telemetry across AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and Kubernetes.
- Lead migrations from Splunk, Current Relic, Dynatrace, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
- Mentor engineering teams and define observability best practices.

Preferred candidate profile :
- 8+ years in observability, SRE,



or platform engineering; 4+ as senior/lead/architect.
- 3+ years hands-on Datadog (Infra, APM, Logs + 2 of: RUM, Synthetics, Cloud SIEM, CSPM, LLM Observability).
- Proven ability to audit Datadog environments and deliver code + cost recommendations.
- Strong metrics collection across Azure/GCP/AWS, data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks), LLM Observability, and cloud cost monitoring.
- Hands-on with monitors, multi-alerts, anomaly/forecast, and composite monitors.
- Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Terraform, and Python/Go/TypeScript.
- Strong communication; pre-sales experience a plus.

Nice to Have:
- Datadog certifications, GenAI/LLM architectures, SLO practice, and observability CoE experience.
