We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Outreach Intern to support our student placement activities. The role includes student communication, job application tracking, coordinating mock interviews, and helping students stay informed about internal and external job opportunities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, well-organized, and passionate about HR and student development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Student Communication & Outreach
- Reach out to students regarding placement activities and hiring opportunities Communicate internal and external job vacancies
- Initiate cold calling to engage students and share updates
- Send cold email communication related to job postings and placement activities Follow up with students to verify application status
- Share job descriptions and ensure timely submissions
Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain records of student applications
- Track whether students have applied for internal and external job opportunities Track mock interview scheduling and completion
- Maintain dashboards and tracking sheets
- Prepare weekly reports for the HR & Placement team
Mock Interview Coordination
- Coordinate with students to schedule mock interviews based on availability Communicate interview details, platforms, and timing
- Coordinate with trainers, evaluators, and interview panel members Follow up with students and ensure attendance
- Collect feedback and share improvement suggestions
Communication & Placement Support
- Guide students on professional communication, resume submission, and etiquette
- Assist students with interview readiness and preparation
- Act as a communication bridge between students and the placement team
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal & written communication Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of job portals & LinkedIn
- Valuable command of MS Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to manage tracking and reporting
