Role Summary:
Develop and manage a solid nationwide transport vendor network to ensure competitive freight procurement, vehicle availability and consistent service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard transport vendors.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial agreements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and compliance.
- Ensure vehicle availability during peak demand.
- Build long-term strategic vendor partnerships.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 8-12 years of experience in transport procurement or vendor development.
- Strong network with transporters and fleet owners across India.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to develop strategic vendor partnerships.
