Business Development Executive – Smart Infrastructure & ITS

About the Role

We are a fast-growing Make in India OEM building smart infrastructure solutions — including Smart City systems, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), LED displays, and control room technology. We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and managing the full sales cycle across Government, EPC, and System Integrator segments.

What You'll Do
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities across Government, EPC, System Integrator, and private sector clients
- Generate leads through tender portals (GeM, eProcurement), industry networking, cold outreach, LinkedIn, and events
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Present and sell our solutions, including Smart VMS/VMD, LED display systems, traffic and road safety solutions, and video wall/control room systems




- Build and maintain long-term relationships with government authorities, system integrators, and infrastructure companies
- Track and evaluate relevant tenders, and support preparation of BOQs and technical/compliance documents
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies
- Identify opportunities in Smart Cities, highways/expressways, tunnels, airports, and metro projects
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth handovers from sales to execution

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or MBA (Marketing preferred); Diploma holders also considered
- 0.5–6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Experience in ITS, Smart City, infrastructure, LED displays/electronics, or EPC/government projects preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with B2B and government sales cycles
- Ability to read and interpret tender documents a
