Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join the Digital Project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices that support digital products and services. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native application development, with a passion for building secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in technical design sessions and architecture discussions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services.




- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
- Ensure applications comply with security standards and secure coding practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 58+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 11/17 or later.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Robust understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and clean architectur
