Evisory is a Brisbane-based accounting and advisory firm specialising in the hospitality sector — cafés, restaurants, bars, and venues. We help hospitality operators navigate everything from BAS and payroll to Division 7A, trust structures, and business growth. We're a small, fast-moving, client-focused team, and we're looking for another superstar to join us.
The Role: Accountant/Bookkeeper (Remote)

Location: Remote (Australia-wide)
Experience: 2–4 years in accounting/bookkeeping

What you'll be doing
Preparing and lodging BAS/IAS for a portfolio of hospitality clients
Preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
STP finalisation, payroll processing, and superannuation compliance
Bookkeeping and reconciliations across Xero (XPM experience highly regarded)
Supporting month-end/quarter-end close processes and end-of-year tax planning
Assisting with client queries and building solid, trusted relationships
Contributing to process improvement and review tooling (we love a good spreadsheet)
Working closely with our Director and wider team on client compliance and advisory matters
What you bring
2–4 years' experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role (public practice experience preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Xero (XPM a bonus)
Solid understanding of BAS, GST, payroll, and STP obligations
Experience preparing tax returns for individuals and business entities (companies, trusts, partnerships)
Excellent attention to detail and a genuine "get it right" mindset
Confident communicator who's comfortable liaising directly with clients
Self-motivated and organised — you'll be working remotely, so reliability and initiative matter
Bonus points if you have hospitality industry experience or a passion for the sector
