Key Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end LTL and FTL transportation operations across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring smooth execution of daily shipments.
2. Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal teams to achieve on-time pickup and delivery performance.
3. Develop and maintain solid relationships with transportation providers and negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements.
4. Manage transportation planning, load consolidation, milk-run operations, route optimization, and capacity allocation to improve efficiency.
5. Monitor shipment movements and proactively resolve issues related to delays, damages, shortages, claims,



and service failures.
6. Coordinate delivery appointments with customers, distribution centers, and retail branches while ensuring compliance with routing guides and customer requirements.
7. Analyze transportation costs and implement strategies to reduce freight spend and improve truck utilization.
8. Oversee cross-border logistics activities, including shipments between the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and coordinate with brokers and freight forwarders.
9. Lead, train, and manage logistics coordinators and transportation planners, ensuring adherence to SOPs and achievement of operational KPIs.
10. Generate and review logistics performance reports, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), On-Time Pickup (OTP), freight costs, carrier performance, and customer service metrics, and drive continuous process improvements.
