We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled ATL Facilitator to lead our Atal Tinkering Lab. This lab is a dedicated workspace where students (Classes 6 to 12) learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India.
Role Overview
The ATL Facilitator will be the driving force behind the school's innovation ecosystem. You will mentor young minds in emerging technologies like robotics, IoT, 3D printing, and basic coding (Python/C++). You will act as a bridge between theoretical science/computer science concepts and practical, hands-on applications, fully aligning with the experiential learning goals of NEP 2020.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Mentorship:
Guide students in building hands-on projects, fostering a culture of design thinking, computational thinking, and problem-solving.
- Lab Management: Oversee the daily operations of the ATL, maintaining inventory, tools, and ensuring a safe working environment for all students.
- Curriculum Integration: Work alongside school faculty to integrate ATL activities with the standard K-12 science and computer science curriculum.
- Event Coordination: Organize and prepare students for intra-school and inter-school tinkering fests, hackathons, and science exhibitions (e.g., ATL Marathon).
- Documentation: Track student progress, maintain lab usage records, and submit regular operational reports as required by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Computer Science (BCA/MCA/B.Sc CS), or a related STEM field.
