Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Automation : Establish automated DevOps pipelines delivering tooling for development and production operations.
- CI/CD Mindset : Cultivate a culture of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery across teams.
- Security Governance : Implement best practices for data security and governance.
- Process Improvement : Collaborate across teams to continuously improve engineering processes and tools.
- Performance Measurement : Develop and own KPIs to measure performance against business outcomes.
- Tooling Release Management : Provide development teams with a full set of DevOps tools, including automated build processes, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and operational metrics.
- Automation Solutions : Partner with development and operations teams to create practical automation solutions and custom modules.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve automation issues, ensuring timely project progress.
- Advisory Role : Serve as a trusted advisor for DevOps initiatives, offering objective and practical insights.
- Project Leadership :
Plan, organize, and guide projects to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables within target timeframes.
- Continuous Delivery : Automate builds from development through production within a Continuous Delivery model.
Technical Skills Experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practical implementations.
- Strong understanding of Scrum Agile methodology ; experience working on Scrum teams.
- Direct experience with DevOps and release management tools .
- Solid expertise in cloud services (AWS preferred) .
- 4+ years of Linux/Unix/Windows system administration in environments with 500+ servers.
- Experience in system monitoring to verify availability and integrity of servers, systems, and processes.
- Proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes .
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture .
