Purpose of the Role

To ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of plant electrical systems, machinery, and utilities through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities, thereby supporting uninterrupted production, safety compliance, and customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance Operations
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine inspection of electrical equipment, control panels, motors, drives, and power distribution systems.
- Monitor equipment health and identify potential electrical failures before they impact production.

Equipment & Utility Maintenance
- Maintain electrical utilities such as compressors, DG sets, transformers, LT panels, MCC panels, and lighting systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of plant electrical infrastructure and utility equipment.




- Monitor electrical parameters and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
- Diagnose faults related to motors, control circuits, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical panels.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with machine suppliers and service providers for complex technical issues when required.

Maintenance Planning & Documentation
- Maintain maintenance logs, preventive maintenance checklists, breakdown reports, and machine history records.
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Support spare parts management, inventory tracking, and critical electrical spare planning.

Installation & Commissioning
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, and trial runs of current machines and equipment.
- Participate in machine modification
