Accounts Officer / Accounts Executive / Accountant PF Plant | Muzaffarpur, Bihar
Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities of the feed manufacturing plant.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P).
- Pass journal entries, payment entries, receipt entries, and contra entries in Tally.
- Prepare and verify purchase, sales, and expense vouchers.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts while ensuring timely reconciliation.
- Perform vendor, customer, bank, and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain inventory accounting and coordinate with the store and production departments for stock verification.
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and accounting records.
- Coordinate with auditors and support statutory audit requirements.




- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Plant Accounting and Manufacturing Accounting.
- Practical working experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas, and Reporting).
- Experience in Inventory Accounting, Vendor Reconciliation, Customer Reconciliation, and Ledger Management.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Com graduate with 3 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in a Poultry Feed, Cattle Feed, Animal Feed, or Manufacturing Plant will be preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a plant environment and capable of handling complete plant accounts.
- CTC: Up to 3.60 LPA
