About the Role

JF Biogas is looking for an experienced
Technical Head

to lead the process engineering and technical execution of our Compressed Biogas (CBG) projects. The role involves driving process design, optimizing plant performance, supporting EPC execution, and leading engineering teams from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead process design for CBG plants in collaboration with the Process & Proposal team.
- Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs;, process calculations, and heat & mass balances.
- Optimize plant efficiency and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Support EPC projects from FEED through commissioning and performance testing.
- Evaluate technologies for biogas upgrading, CO₂ removal, H₂S removal, and biomethane purification.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.




- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Operations teams.
- Lead engineering teams while managing technical deliverables, project schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years

of experience in process engineering within
CBG, Biogas, Biofuels, Oil & Gas, or other process industries

- Robust knowledge of anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading technologies (PSA, Membrane Separation, Water Scrubbing, Amine Scrubbing), and process simulation tools such as
Aspen HYSYS

or
Aspen Plus

.
- Proven experience supporting EPC projects from design through commissioning.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
