Job Summary:

The Purchase Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day procurement operations, including sourcing, order processing, vendor communication, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The role ensures timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the smooth functioning of the laboratory and production units.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying reliable suppliers and maintaining vendor databases.
- Request quotations,



compare prices, and prepare comparative statements for evaluation.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Track orders and ensure materials are received in accordance with specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with the stores and quality control teams for inspection and acceptance of received goods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules under guidance from the Purchase Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the store department to avoid stock-outs.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle documentation for audits and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
