Job Title: Admission Counselor

Job Summary:

The Admission Counselor is responsible for assisting prospective students through the admissions process and providing information and guidance about academic programs, campus life, and other student services. This individual will act as a representative of the institution to recruit qualified students, promote the benefits of attending Doon Institute of Medical Sciences and support enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Interview students and assess their academic achievements, leadership capabilities, and suitability for admission.
- Provide prospective students with information related to the enrollment procedure and requirements.
- Research and evaluate student eligibility qualifications.
- Ability to convert leads to admissions.
- Engage in outreach to local schools, community colleges, and other organizations to build partnerships and increase enrollment




- Offer detailed information to prospective students and their families regarding admissions requirements, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, housing, and student services

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services preferred.
- Strong understanding of the college admissions process and academic programs is a plus.
- Freshers are also welcome to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Good knowledge of Nursing, Paramedical, and BAMS courses
