Event Management : "Role Senior Software Engineer/ Consultant Specialist for Event Management and Linux Monitoring Open-Source products

Job Description Subject Matter Expert (SME) for providing technical assistance, responsible for engineering software solutions for Linux Monitoring infrastructure problems and Event Management system. This role needs knowledge on the competing Open-Source tools in the market for Monitoring and Event Management like Prometheus, Zabbix, Alerta, Grafana, OpenTelemetry etc.

Qualifications:
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills




- Should have a minimum of 3-8 years IT experience out of which a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the following monitoring/event management and/or automation development experience
- Zabbix, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Strimzi, Alerta, Keep, Nagios, Graylog
- Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Java, Shell, Unix scripting, Perl, Python
- REST API Development
- Knowledge of message/event streaming (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for event pipelines.
- Robust fundamentals in distributed systems and networking
- Experience on DevOps tools like -Ansible, Python, Tanium, Git, CI/CD.
- UNIX OS knowledge is mandatory
