About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
*Performance Test Engineer*
to join our QA team on a contract basis for an
*upcoming long-term project.*
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure enterprise applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance testing strategies and test plans.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts.
- Perform load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
- Analyze application performance and identify system bottlenecks.
- Conduct REST API performance testing.
- Monitor application performance and provide optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and recommendations.
- Participate in Agile development activities and release planning.
- Maintain reusable performance testing assets and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing or Performance Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
- Experience in enterprise web application and API performance testing.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams
