Position Title - Lead MET (Material Engineering Technology)

Job Location - Vadodara, Gujarat

Job Criteria
- Experience - 16+ years
- Qualification - B.E / B.Tech in Metallurgy (Essential)
- Mastery in depth competencies a in material selection (metallic & non-metallic materials), corrosion principles, metallurgy and welding, corrosion protection, corrosion management, pipeline inspection and maintenance, integrity of static equipment, cathodic protection and coating systems.
- Demonstrated contribution in providing special material solution for Sour service, steam and/or other specialized recovery techniques.
- Aware of & familiar with issues surrounding high pressure and high H2S facilities, and have managed staff in a similarly challenging high-risk workplace.
- Sound knowledge in Pipe wall thickness, Piping Material specifications, Valve and Special items, MR, TBE and VDR of piping components is desirable.
- Drive HSE in Material selection aspects
- Good understanding of international codes and standards like ASME, NACE,



SSPC, API, etc.

Role & responsibilities
- Developing Internal lining / cladding and discipline related reports.
- Estimating corrosion rates (using latest software ECE software etc.) and proposing fit for purpose and cost-effective alternatives with respect to materials, coating etc.
- Familiar with API, NACE, ASTM and other International standards.
- Developing the specifications for painting and surface preparation, Rust prevention specification based on clients review and recommendations, TQs, Alignment techniques, Company observations and requirements.
- Assessing technical contract requirements and identifying challenges to optimize cost and design specially for items with high impact on project schedules.
- Technical bid evaluation of vendor offers for static, rotary, piping, pipelines, instrumentation items in M&C; review.
