As a Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining storage solutions to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability of our organization's data storage infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, architect storage solutions, and troubleshoot storage-related issues. Additionally, you will stay updated with emerging storage technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance the organization's storage capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.

2. Deploy and configure storage hardware, including storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and direct-attached storage (DAS) systems.

3. Develop and maintain storage policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure efficient storage management and data protection.

4. Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization,



and proactively address any issues to maintain optimal storage performance and availability.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess storage requirements and provide recommendations for storage infrastructure improvements.

6. Implement and manage data replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

7. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and storage system configuration changes.

8. Troubleshoot storage-related issues and work with vendors for problem resolution and hardware replacement if necessary.

9. Participate in capacity planning activities to forecast future storage requirements and ensure scalability of storage infrastructure.

10. Stay updated with emerging storage technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's storage workplace.
