Sealed Air India is looking for a Demand Supply Chain Assistant Manager In this role, you will:
- Provide advice and recommend buying strategies to minimize Sealed Air Corporation's risk position, including:
1. Establishing market rates;
2. Providing purchasing-related advice to managers;
3. To link and optimize buying and selling strategies;
4. To minimize Sealed Air Corporation's risk position with respect to critical raw materials/products/services.
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with key suppliers, including:
1. 1. Identifying the top 80% of supplier spend (both Direct and Indirect);
2. Conducting regular communications with identified key suppliers;
3. Clearly articulating the business's expectations of the supplier; and
4. Ensuring that key suppliers understand the business's requirements and long term goals.
Planning of materials as per forecast received from Business maintaining inventory to meet the DOH targets. Demand Planning to be based upon :-
- - - Stock on Hand.
- Material in Transit (MIT)
- Material Lead Time/Transit Time.
Sharing the Forecast with the vendors so that they can plan for RM/PM accordingly.
Monitoring of Lead time from various sources highlight the same for deviation.
Monitoring of clearance time of CHA every month.
Scheduling of material as per the Inventory policy so as to ensure ZERO Stock out as well as NIL Obsolesce due to wrong ordering.
Resolve receiving error issues in database Maintain ingredient costing file and pricelists;
Participate in various SCM process improvement projects to drive excellence.
Perform item master maintenance transaction in all appropriate databases and systems;
Update Purchase Orders with current delivery information;
Coordinate Product Change Notification Process;
Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery and quality concerns and obtain documents;
Assist Purchasing Manager with projects as needed.
