Role & responsibilities
- Draft and prepare U.S. legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning instruments
- Prepare probate petitions, inventories, accountings, and court correspondence
- Support guardianship and conservatorship filings, including annual accountings and reports
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with court requirements
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and internal team members to keep matters on track and deadlines met
- Maintain organized case files and update case management/document systems (e.g., Clio, MyCase, WealthCounsel)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based attorneys and clients over email and calls
- Manage multiple active matters simultaneously with high attention to detail

Preferred candidate profile
- Law degree required (LLB/JD or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, this role involves court filings and client-facing documents




- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask across matters
- Comfortable working U.S. business hours (remote, WFH)
- Prior exposure to U.S. legal drafting, estate planning, or probate work is a solid plus
- Familiarity with legal software/tools (Clio, MyCase, WealthCounsel, or similar) is a plus
- Strong research skills and ability to quickly learn U.S. legal procedure and terminology
