Role
As a Community Mobilizer, you will lead community outreach and youth mobilisation for the General Duty Assistant (GDA) and Elder Care Training Programme. You will identify eligible youth, conduct career counselling, support enrolment, and work with communities to improve participation and retention in healthcare skill development programmes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct community mobilisation drives for GDA and Elder Care training programmes.
- Identify and mobilise eligible youth interested in healthcare careers.
- Conduct household visits and needs assessments.
- Provide career counselling and explain training and employment opportunities.
- Support candidate registration, documentation,
and onboarding.
- Monitor attendance, participation, and retention of trainees.
- Build relationships with parents, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
- Organise awareness campaigns, mobilisation camps, and community meetings.
- Maintain mobilisation records, reports, and programme documentation.
- Support placement activities and track candidate progress.
- Assist the Centre Coordinator with daily operational activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in community mobilisation, fieldwork or skill development programmes.
- Experience working with youth and livelihood programmes is preferred.
- Strong communication, counselling, and motivational skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and mobile applications.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field.
