Director of Marketing and Communications

General Summary Of Position
The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of the company’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. This position will provide cutting-edge strategic and creative leadership to guide all aspects of conceptualizing, image creation, copywriting, design direction and production/execution. This role balances high-level executive collaboration with a hands-on approach to delivering exceptional work for high-profile and complex creative challenges.

Core And Essential Tasks
- Empowers and leads a cross-functional marketing team, providing the strategic direction and professional mentorship necessary to achieve high-impact brand goals
- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services




- Supports content and execution of annual Garland International Sales Conference and regional sales meetings throughout the year
- Develops marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
- Manages resource planning, departmental budgets, and allocations to ensure achievement of objectives within designated financial limits
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
- Monitors market trends and competitor activities to refine strategy and maintain a competitive edge
- Manages PR initiatives, brand communications, media relations, and social media execution, including influencer and ambassador programs
- Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
- Collaborates with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
- Oversees all aspects of web design and development, and manage the creation of all marketing collat
