As a DevOps Engineer at SMBC based in our Chennai office, you will be a key contributor to building, optimizing, and maintaining the infrastructure automation foundation for our digital banking transformation across the Asia Pacific region. Requiring 10-12 years of professional engineering experience, focusing on hands-on platform engineering, dual-track CI/CD pipeline development (infrastructure and applications), and system reliability.
Operating out of our regional headquarters, you will collaborate heavily with engineering and delivery counterparts in Chennai and across APAC to drive standard DevOps practices, maximize developer productivity, and manage complex production-tier promotions. You will solve real enterprise-scale infrastructure challenges dailybuilding automated security guardrails, tuning containerized deployments using modern Infrastructure as Code,
and leveraging advanced AI development approaches to accelerate platform evolution across our digital banking ecosystem.
