Mainframe Development manager for credit card application

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Cultivate an engineering culture that values excellence, feedback, and clean code, driving the chapter towards innovative and efficient practices

Business
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.
- Provides technical guidance to junior developers.
- Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)
- Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
- Design program specifications aligning to coding best practices for effective system performance
- Perform program coding and testing
- JIRA ADO / Confluence updates
- User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
- Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
- Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.




- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.
- Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects.
- Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision

- Manage the lifecycle of products or services, ensuring governance is maintained and aligned with the group's framework.
