About the role:
The Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 - 8 years of Experience, you will collaborate closely with Team Leads or Project Managers to Design, Develop and Optimize Electro-Mechanical Systems and Components. This role demands significant experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and efficiency. The candidate should demonstrate a solid working knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Product Development like LV/MV Switchgears & have hands-on experience of 3D modelling from the preliminary concept sketch using Solidworks or Inventor and building.
You are expected to:
- Lead and participate in the design and development of complex Electro-Mechanical Systems and Components.
- Create and Review detailed Design drawings, Schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
- Prepare comprehensive Technical Documentation, including design reports, test plans, and user manuals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Project Timelines and Deliverables in coordination with team leads or project managers.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 2 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Sheet metal design and proven experience for 3+ years, working in Sheet metal.
- Experience in Designing Low, Medium Voltage and High Voltage Switchgears Switchboards.
- Experience in creating detailed design drawings, schematics and specifications.
