We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mutual Fund Core Specialist to join our operations team. This role is responsible for all operational aspects of mutual fund processing while supporting key functions that ensure accuracy and timeliness in trade execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work across internal teams and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Execution & Processing

Assist in entering mutual fund trades into internal systems with precision and speed.

Confirm trade eligibility based on fund rules, account setup, and compliance guidelines.

Monitor trade activity throughout the day to ensure timely execution and settlement.

Support wire entry and ensure proper routing of funds to meet trade settlement deadlines.

Reconciliation & Issue Resolution





Reconcile mutual fund positions and transactions daily at both the CUSIP and account level.

Identify and resolve breaks or discrepancies in trade data, escalating issues when needed.

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technology, compliance) to troubleshoot and resolve trade-related issues.

Communication & Collaboration

Interact with fund companies, custodians, and counterparties to clarify trade details and resolve exceptions.

Maintain clear and qualified communication across departments to support smooth trade processing.

Support audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives related to reconciliation and transfer processes.

Document procedures and contribute to training materials for both onshore and offshore teams.
