The State Head Sales will be responsible for achieving the company's sales objectives by expanding the dealer network, leading the state sales team, increasing market share, developing strategic business plans, ensuring customer satisfaction, monitoring competitors, and driving profitable business growth throughout the assigned state.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare state-wise sales forecasts.
- Monitor retail and wholesale sales.
- Drive vehicle dispatches and dealer billing.
- Increase market share across all assigned territories.
- Develop district-wise sales strategies.
2. Dealer Network Development
- Identify new dealer opportunities.
- Appoint current dealers as per company guidelines.
- Evaluate dealer financial capability.
- Conduct dealer audits.
- Improve dealer productivity.
- Ensure dealership profitability.
- Resolve dealer grievances.
3. Team Leadership
- Recruit Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers and Sales Executives.
- Set KPIs for all reporting employees.
- Conduct weekly and monthly sales reviews.
- Coach and mentor field teams.
- Evaluate performance through KRAs.
- Recommend promotions and disciplinary actions.
4. Business Development
- Identify untapped markets.
- Develop institutional sales.
- Expand fleet business.
- Generate government and corporate leads.
- Build relationships with local transport associations.
- Create strategic alliances.
5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing.
- Track competitor dealer appointments.
- Analyze new product launches.

6. Marketing Activities
