Responsibilities:
- Design, analysis and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Responsible for advising the business on best practices and compliance requirements related to both benefits and compensation.
- May be involved in performing analysis, evaluation and classification in line with requirements and company policy or managing base salary guidance, survey participation and benchmarking company pay to external market to maintain a cost effective competitive advantage, in line with company people strategy.
- May manage compensation or benefits related vendor relationships and annual advantages enrollment or compensation cycles such as merit increases, annual bonus or other short term incentive programs.
- Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting of lower level Managers (M2) and seasoned Professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
- Responsibilities typically include: Develops departmental plans, including business, production,
operational and/or organizational priorities.
- May recommend policy and strategy for area of responsibility.
- Responsible for policy and strategy implementation.
- Implements policies and strategies for short-term results (1 year or less).
- Handles problems that are difficult and moderately complex.
- Influences others outside of own function regarding function policies, practices and procedures.
- Interfaces with other leadership and stakeholders within function and throughout the business.
Qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
