Job Description:

The Associate Professor, Forensic Medicine is responsible for providing specialized clinical care, academic teaching, research support,



and administrative assistance within the Department of, Forensic Medicine. The role supports the Professor, Head of Unit, and Head of Department in ensuring high standards of patient care, medical education, research activities, and quality compliance, in accordance with NMC regulations, patient care standards, and institutional policies of the Medical College and the affiliated Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital under a Deemed-to-be University.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and evidence-based patient care in outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and ICU settings as assigned.
- Supervise and guide residents and interns in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients.
- Ensure adherence to approved clinical protocols, SOPs, and hospital policies.
- Participate in ward rounds, specialty clinics, emergency duties, and on-call services as per departmental roster.
