Senior Rubber Engineer & Designer

? Experience 02–10 Years

? Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Rubber Technology, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with extensive practical experience in railway rubber product design and manufacturing will also be considered.

Job Profile

The selected candidate will be responsible for the complete design, development, and manufacturing support of
railway rubber components
used in rolling stock, suspension systems, braking systems,



and heavy engineering applications.

The role requires strong technical expertise in
rubber compound development, product design, tooling, manufacturing processes, quality improvement, and new product development
, while working closely with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Purchase, and Customer teams.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Design and develop railway rubber components as per customer drawings and RDSO/International standards.

✔ Prepare and review 2D & 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.

✔ Develop new railway rubber products from concept to production.

✔ Select suitable rubber compounds based on mechanical, thermal, abrasion, weathering, and chemical resistance requirements.

✔ Coordinate mould and tooling development with Tool Room and external vendors.

✔ Optimize product design for manufacturability, durability, and cost reduction.

✔ Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Maintenance
