About the Role

Bluestone is an omnichannel jewellery brand where a large part of the customer journey

happens inside physical stores. The POS platform is the core system store teams use to assist customers — browsing products, checking inventory, building carts, completing billing,

managing customer sessions, and driving post-visit follow-up. This is not a easy billing tool; it's a full retail selling platform used by store staff, store managers, and business teams to manage the entire in-store customer journey, from walk-in to purchase (or follow-up, if the custome

rdoesn't buy that visit).

As QA on this platform, you'll work on a product that directly impacts store operations, custome

rexperience, sales conversion, inventory accuracy, and follow-up discipline. You'll need to understand complete business flows — login, browsing, cart, checkout, payment, inventory checks, visit closure, dropped-sale capture, follow-ups, staff and manager dashboards, inter-store transfers,



and upcoming integrations like RFID — since most POS issues are flow, state, or data problems rather than isolated UI bugs.

What You'll Do

● Own quality across the feature lifecycle: review PRDs, identify missing scenarios, write test cases and regression checklists, test end-to-end flows, report bugs clearly, support UAT, and provide release sign-off.

● Cover functional, regression, API, UI, dashboard, data validation, role-based, and edge-case testing.

● Test time-based and state-based scenarios common in retail operations: expiry,cooldown, blocking, pending states, retries, duplicate actions, payment failures, inventory status changes, and repeated staff/customer actions.

● Go beyond executing test cases — proactively find gaps, question unclear logic, think through business impact, and help product and engineering teams release with confidence.
