Role & responsibilities
- Lead the setup and day-to-day operations of the school.
- Coach, mentor, and develop teachers through regular classroom observations and training.
- Execute SURAAH's academic program and ensure effective classroom implementation.
- Build solid relationships with parents, trustees, and the local community.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing school team.
- Foster a culture of academic rigor, belonging, and continuous improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
- 6+ years of experience in education, including 23 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in teacher coaching, school operations, and team management.
- Comfortable working in both Hindi and English.
- Familiar with NCF/NCERT and progressive or alternative education practices.
- Willing to relocate and commit to living in the hills of Uttarakhand for at least two years.
