Lead Engineer Document Generation

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer whose core capability is document generation in a B2B environment. You will own how dynamic, customer-facing documents — quotes, order forms, contracts, agreements, statements, and similar artifacts — are templated, populated, and produced at scale.

This is a document-generation–first role. We are building our own platform with document generation capability and require someone with hands-on experience in established tools such as Conga Templates / Conga Composer, Quadient Inspire, OpenText Exstream, Nintex DocGen, S-Docs, Titan Docs, or Amdocs Document Designer (AMDD).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of document generation capabilities
- Build and maintain agile document templates (conditional logic, merge fields, repeating sections)




- Define and manage attribute/data mapping across upstream systems
- Work closely with Business Analysts to understand data origin, structure, and flow
- Reconcile differences across data models and standardize inputs for document generation
- Establish reusable template standards and components
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and auditability
- Define and implement testing and validation strategies
- Troubleshoot issues related to template rendering, formatting, and data mismatches
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
- Document architecture, mapping logic, and deployment processes
