Job Summary

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and machinery.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Dial Gauges.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
- Identify equipment faults and perform corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records and job reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments during maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping in the work area.

Qualification
- ITI Fitter / Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance of industrial machinery, manufacturing, hospitality, or amusement parks.
