The firm is currently building and managing SEBI-registered Category II AIF strategies focused on disciplined investments in high-quality unlisted companies with clear visibility to IPOs or strategic exits.
Role Overview
This is a buy-side investment role within a Category II AIF, focused on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments in late-stage, pre-IPO, and high-growth unlisted companies.
The role requires end-to-end ownership of investments—from deal origination to exit—with the objective of delivering strong risk-adjusted returns and fund-level IRRs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deal Sourcing & Origination
- Build and manage a proprietary pipeline of pre-IPO and unlisted investment opportunities
- Source deals through founders, VC/PE funds, investment banks, family offices, and internal networks
- Identify:
- Secondary liquidity opportunities
- Pre-IPO placements and anchor allocations
- Structured transactions and negotiated secondaries
- Track companies early in the IPO pipeline (pre-DRHP stage)
2. Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis:
- Financial performance and projections
- Unit economics and profitability trajectory
- Market size, growth drivers, and competitive positioning
- Governance and promoter quality
- Assess IPO readiness and exit visibility
- Build clear investment theses with defined risk-return frameworks
