Education Qualification :
- Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science with 55%. NET/SET or Ph.D. (as per UGC norms)

Work Experience :
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in an academic library, preferably in a university or college setup.
- Experience in handling library software (e.g., KOHA) and e-resources/databases.

Roles & Responsibilities (As per UGC Norms):
- Assist in planning and managing library resources and services.
- Support development of books, journals, and e-resources.
- Perform cataloguing/classification (DDC, AACR2/RDA).
- Manage circulation (issue/return/renewal).
- Provide reference and research support services.
- Handle Library Management Systems and digital libraries.




- Facilitate access to INFLIBNET, e-ShodhSindhu, Shodhganga.
- Conduct user orientation and information literacy programs.
- Maintain records for NAAC/UGC compliance.
- Ensure proper shelving, stock verification, and discipline.
- Support plagiarism tools (Turnitin/Urkund).
- Assist in procurement and vendor coordination.
- Participate in academic/administrative activities.
