Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments.
- Read engineering drawings and inspection standards.
- Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming parts.
- Record inspection results and prepare quality reports.
- Inform production supervisors about quality issues.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
- Follow workplace safety and quality procedures.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as:
- Vernier caliper
- Micrometer
- Height gauge
- Dial indicator
- Feeler gauge
- Go/No-Go gauges
- Attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of GD&T; and tolerances.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
