Role & responsibilities

The role will drive continuous improvement, standardization, quality assurance, innovation, and capability building across the Internal Audit organization. The role is responsible for enhancing audit effectiveness, ensuring compliance with qualified standards, leveraging technology and analytics, and establishing a culture of operational excellence within the audit function.
- Develop and execute the Audit Excellence roadmap aligned with organizational and audit strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit efficiency, effectiveness, and stakeholder value.
- Lead audit transformation programs, including automation, analytics, robotics, AI, and digital audit initiatives.
- Design and manage the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program
- Conduct ongoing quality reviews to ensure compliance with IIA Standards, internal methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain audit policies, procedures,



frameworks, and operating manual
- Promote the adoption of audit analytics and technology-enabled auditing.
- Collaborate with Digital, IT, and Data teams to implement innovative audit solutions.
- Develop dashboards, KPI frameworks, and management reporting for audit performance monitoring.
- Drive the use of continuous auditing and continuous monitoring practices.
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for Audit Leadership and Audit Committee.
- Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve audit outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Track audit quality, cycle time, issue closure effectiveness, and resource utilization.

Preferred candidate profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
