Role & responsibilities
- Develop and execute acoustic solutions for air compressor products and related systems.
- Perform acoustic modelling, vibroacoustic analysis, and noise control studies to meet product performance targets.
- Analyze sound radiation, transmission loss, source characterization, and vibration behaviour of components and systems.
- Develop analytical and MATLAB-based models for acoustic performance prediction and optimization.
- Support acoustic simulations using tools such as Actran, Virtual Lab Acoustics, or equivalent.
- Conduct experimental validation and correlate test results with analytical and simulation models.
- Collaborate with design, testing, and product development teams to drive acoustic performance improvements.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
- M.E./M.Tech/MS in Acoustics, Sound & Vibration,



Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Technical Acoustics, Vibroacoustics, or Noise Control Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Acoustic Modelling, Duct Acoustics, Structural Acoustics, Sound Radiation, Transmission Loss, and Source Characterization.
- Experience in MATLAB-based acoustic modelling and analytical methods.
- Exposure to acoustic simulation and modelling tools such as Actran, Virtual Lab Acoustics, or equivalent.
- Experience in experimental validation and correlation of acoustic models.
- Exposure to rotating machinery, compressors, or industrial equipment is preferred.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
