Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Quality Assurance
- Inspections: Conduct rigorous daily inspections of guest rooms, VIP suites, and public spaces to maintain luxury hospitality standards.
- Workflow Management: Review occupancy reports, prioritize arrivals, and coordinate with the Front Desk and Engineering teams for seamless, real-time service.
- Deep Cleaning: Oversee scheduled deep cleaning, pest control, and preventive maintenance programs.

2. Team Leadership & Training
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate a diverse team of supervisors, room attendants, and housemen.
- SOP Training: Conduct morning briefings and continuous training sessions on standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and grooming standards.
- Scheduling: Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and adjust staffing levels according to hotel occupancy forecasts.

3. Inventory & Cost Control
- Budgeting: Assist in creating the annual housekeeping budget and manage departmental expenses, including payroll and cleaning supplies.
- Inventory Par Levels: Track usage of linens, uniforms,



guest amenities, and cleaning chemicals to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external suppliers to source high-quality materials and equipment.

4. Guest Satisfaction & Safety
- Complaint Resolution: Address guest complaints related to cleanliness or service with urgency and professionalism, ensuring immediate service recovery.
- Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, hazardous materials protocols (e.g., OSHA), and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Administration.
- Experience: 5–8 years of progressive housekeeping experience, with at least 2–3 years in a management role at a luxury or five-star property.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
