- Prepare the OT by Checking Sterilization, Surgical Instruments and required consumables prior to each procedure.
- Receive and Verify the Identity and patient preparation, clinical details of patients in the Preoperative area using a Standardized checklist.
- Monitor patient physical and emotional status during pre-surgery preparation and report any concerns.
- Assist in patient Positioning, Draping while ensuring privacy, safety and comfort.
- Actively participate in Surgeries as Scrub Nurse or Circulating Nurse, maintaining aseptic technique all times.
- Verify Surgical Safety checklist and Instruments count before, during and after the procedures.




- Handle surgical Equipments other Devices safely and effectively.
- Support anaesthesia team during induction and Emergence phases.
- Ensure prompt Post operative transfer and handover of patients to Recovery or ICU.
- Respond efficiently to Intra operative Emergencies and Follow Crash cart protocols.
- Maintain strict Infection Control Protocols including Hand Hygiene, Biomedical waste segregation, etc.
- Ensure biomedical equipments is cleaned, labelled and stored as per protocol after each case.
- Report Equipment malfunction or shortage promptly and coordinate for timely repairs or replacements.
- Checks special assignments like checking of Inventory and any other assignment given by Team Leader.
- Attends all in-service education programs, External Workshop and certification programs for continuous skill enhancement.
- Customer Related Communicate politely and professionally with patients
