JOB MISSION

As part of the design, development, and delivery of
company's electronic payment solutions
, the Subject Matter Expert (SME) acts as a
functional–technical authority
on payment processes.

The role bridges
business requirements and technical implementation
, ensuring that payment functionalities are accurately translated into
functional specifications, technical designs, and configurable rules
in compliance with industry standards, regulatory constraints, and platform architecture.

JOB OBJECTIVES

1.



Business & Functional Expertise
- Analyze and formalize
client business requirements
related to electronic payments (issuing/ acquiring/ switching, clearing, settlement).
- Translate business needs into
detailed functional specifications
aligned with Card architecture and capabilities.
- Interpret complex client inputs (process flows, regulatory constraints, schemes rules) and convert them into
structured, implementable functional models
.
- Act as a reference point for payment business logic, transaction lifecycles, and exception handling.

2. Functional-Technical Alignment & Implementation Support
- Ensure
functional specifications are technically consistent
with system architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
- Validate alignment between
functional design and technical design
(interfaces, APIs, batch flows, parameterization, rules engines).
