Dairy Day manufactures and supplies products across a variety of cups, cones, sticks, tubs, and other special packaging with over 30+ flavors. The company has state of the art manufacturing facilities in Karnataka with a production capacity of 4 Lakh liters/day.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and ISO guidelines.
- Monitor implementation of quality systems across production processes.
- Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits and certifications.
2. Process & Product Quality Oversight
- Supervise quality checks for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Ensure all products meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Investigate deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Team Supervision
- Lead and guide quality officers and lab technicians.
- Train production and quality teams on hygiene, food safety, and quality protocols.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs on the shop floor.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Review and approve quality reports, test records, and audit documentation.
- Maintain records for traceability and compliance purposes.
- Prepare reports on quality performance, deviations, and improvements.
5. Supplier & Raw Material Quality
- Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct vendor audits when required.
- Ensure incoming raw materials meet quality standards.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Work closely with production and R&D; teams to enhance product quality and consistency.
