We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Export Documentation Executive with 2–3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in shipment documentation, booking coordination, and communication with overseas agents and shipping lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle shipment bookings with shipping lines and airlines.
- Prepare and manage MBL/HBL and MAWB/HAWB documentation.
- Prepare and verify DGD (Dangerous Goods Declaration) documents, wherever applicable.
- Coordinate First Check and customs-related activities.
- Liaise with overseas agents for shipment updates and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure timely submission and accuracy of all shipping documents.
- Monitor shipment movement and provide status updates to customers.
- Resolve operational issues by coordinating with all stakeholders.
- Maintain proper records of shipment documents and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and international shipping regulations.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Freight Forwarding operations.
- Hands-on experience in Booking, MBL/HBL, MAWB/HAWB documentation.
- Knowledge of DGD documentation and First Check procedures.
- Experience in coordinating with overseas agents and shipping lines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Air Freight and Sea Freight operations.
- Good understanding of Import and Export
