A leading commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for a senior platform leader to own the strategic direction, portfolio, and profitability of its Bus & CLCV (Heavy & Intermediate Commercial Vehicle) platform range. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for translating market and customer insight into a winning, profitable product portfolio.

Role & responsibilities:
- Own platform strategy for the entire Bus & CLCV range, working closely with Product Planning to align with the organization's brand promise
- Build and manage a portfolio of platform projects, including leadership of 7+ ongoing critical projects tied to short, medium and long-term market share goals
- Drive current product/variant introduction in response to market shifts, customer needs, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics
- Ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality product development; monitor critical development gateways and drive "first time right" execution
- Own platform profitability track fuel efficiency leadership, price realization, material cost reduction (IMCR),



and value engineering initiatives
- Lead cross-functional and cross-project trade-off decisions to protect overall program (TCIP) targets
- Drive strategic negotiations on platform portfolio, business cases, and technology/aggregate development
- Conduct regular platform performance reviews with functional heads, plant heads, project leaders and CoE heads
- Engage directly with customers, dealer principals and key suppliers to understand needs and resolve critical issues (regular travel involved)
- Represent the organization at industry forums (SIAM, ARAI, technology partners) and drive competitive benchmarking
- Build and mentor a high-performing, customer-centric product team

Preferred candidate profile:
- 17+ years of experience in automotive product planning, platform strategy, or program management, preferably in commercial vehicles (Bus/HCV/ICV/CLCV)
- Proven track record of owning platform P&L;, product portfol
