Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teradata Developer with solid expertise in SQL, BTEQ, and Teradata utilities (e.g., MLOAD, TPT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouse solutions, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain Teradata SQL queries, BTEQ scripts, and data processing workflows.

Design, build, and maintain ETL processes for large-scale data warehouse environments.

Utilize Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, MLOAD, and TPT for efficient data loading and processing.

Write and maintain Shell scripts to automate operational and data-related tasks.

Develop and support Python scripts for data processing, transformation, and analytics.

Monitor, troubleshoot,



and resolve performance issues within Teradata databases.

Perform query tuning and optimization to improve system efficiency and resource utilization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Business, QA, DevOps) to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data pipelines.

Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Stay current with emerging technologies in Teradata, SQL, and cloud data platforms.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in Teradata development.

Strong expertise in Teradata SQL and BTEQ scripting.

Experience with Teradata utilities (e.g., MLOAD, TPT).

Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation.

Solid programming skills in Python for data processing.

Experience in data warehouse design and development.

Strong knowledge of query performance tuning and troubleshooting.
