Factory & Blue-Collar Workforce Management Labor & Worker Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for factory workmen (blue-collar employees) to resolve grievances, maintain discipline, and ensure a harmonious working environment. Attendance & Shift Management: Oversee daily attendance, overtime calculations, and shift scheduling for production workers in coordination with floor supervisors. Contract Labor Management: Manage third-party contractors and temporary staffing requirements during peak production cycles. 2. Statutory Compliance & Safety Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Factories Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, PF, ESIC, and other local labor laws applicable in Gujarat. Health & Safety: Coordinate with the plant safety officer to ensure workplace safety protocols, PPE usage, and regular health check-ups for factory workers. 3. Recruitment & Client-Centric Staffing Guiding the HR recruiters Client Alignment Support: Understand the staffing and agility requirements driven by our diverse B2B client portfolio (e.g.,
quick turnaround times required for major stationery and commercial brands). 4. Core HR Operations Onboarding & Exit: Handle seamless induction for new hires and manage full and final settlements for exiting employees. Payroll Input Management: Prepare monthly inputs for payroll processing, including attendance records, leaves, bonuses, and statutory deductions. Employee Engagement: Organize workplace initiatives and festival celebrations to boost morale across both office staff and factory workers.
Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years of core HR experience in a manufacturing unit, ideally within the printing, packaging, or closely related sectors. Language: Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi is mandatory to effectively communicate with the blue-collar workforce. Skills: Strong understanding of labor laws, excellent conflict-resolution skills, and proficiency in MS Excel/HRMS software.
