Role Description
The Coordinator of Volunteers at Profesional Independiente is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities across various initiatives. This role involves recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking assignments, and providing ongoing guidance to ensure volunteers are engaged and effective. The coordinator will develop and deliver training materials, maintain clear communication with volunteers and stakeholders, and monitor program progress. Day-to-day tasks include responding to volunteer inquiries, updating records in volunteer management systems, preparing reports on participation and impact, and collaborating with community partners to identify new outreach opportunities. The role also supports continuous improvement of volunteer processes and contributes to a positive, inclusive experience for all participants.

Qualifications




- Demonstrated ability in volunteer coordination, including Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to collaborate with diverse volunteers and community partners.
- Experience with Community Outreach, relationship building, and engagement activities.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in scheduling and record-keeping.
- Comfort working in a remote setting, using digital tools for meetings, communication, and documentation.
- Basic proficiency with office software and online collaboration platforms.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, community programs, or social impact initiatives is beneficial.
- Commitment to inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and ethical volunteer practices.
