What You’ll Do
Primary responsibility is to perform feature testing for Cloud Native Database features. This includes understanding feature specifications early in the development cycle to create test specifications, test cases, and test plans under the guidance of feature test architects.
Additional responsibility will include isolating and troubleshooting the problems and providing assistance to the developers in resolving problems.
The candidate will need to collaborate closely with feature architects/manager, the product owner, and other team members.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Shell, and Python is mandatory. Robust understanding of SQL will be an additional advantage. The ideal candidate should also be capable of creating feature, unit, and performance test cases, as well as automation scripts.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of programming experience and/or software testing experience.
Job Requirements:
Ability to understand product features and functionalities from design documents
Ability to write feature test specifications, developing the test cases and automating them, testing of bug fixes, providing assistance in debugging and isolating the problems
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
Experience working with Relational Databases (RDBMS) and SQL.
Understanding and designing test frameworks for test
