Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and qualified manner.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Coordinate seating to balance server sections.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates.
- Handle special requests (birthdays, anniversaries, accessibility needs).
- Keep the reception area, menus, and host stand clean and organized.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to visit again.
